WHICH PARADIGMS HAVE SHAPED YOUR LIFE
We have committed to master ourselves in 2015 and we will do whatever it takes !!! What I’m about to share with you is true however, for all of us at various stages in our lives and all the years to come.
Somewhere something has shaped our lives. I call these ‘PARADIGMS’ . We have been guided, led and sometimes dictated by these in the past and will do so in the future. Most of us will never go deep enough to look for these and many of us under estimate the power of
paradigms. They play a major role in who we are and who we become. They have shaped our lives in a positive or in the negative way. How have they shaped yours??
Man is a product of perceptions…Paradigms influence perception and perceptions
drive our behavior. Our behaviour in turn is a response to our perception of what we think is TRUE. Based on that, we give out an emotional response which determines our level of happiness or sadness. If for example, your perception about a person or situation is false, then your emotional response will also be false,”a false perception will create a false reality!”
The obvious question would be , ‘How does one know what is true and what is false?”The answer is ‘It is always contextual’ !! All is happening in a ‘context’. Within that context , it could either be true, false, wrong or right. But from an objective perspective , it is simply a happening and WE NEED NOT EVEN PERCIEVE IT AT ALL. How many of such perceptions have created thoughts and feelings in us, leading to some Paradigm, which is have clouded our perception and will influence our future perceptions.
For now, I would like to ask you to look into the false realities in your life !!! How many negative paradigms are you living with. Where do our negative thoughts, behaviors and actions originate
from. Are we perceiving falsely or are we applying our negative paradigms to situations and people around us. Do we really know?? These false perceptions are responsible for many of the negative results we experience in our lives.
WHAT YOU COULD DO: For a week, just remain silent and watch how you perceive and react to things around you…yes…go silent if you can , you will have your reactions but keep them within you, just check which negative ones are there and what are the paradigms that have shaped those perceptions. Be aware of your perceptions and you’ll be aware of what you do and why you do it.
DON’T AUTOMATICALLY ASSUME THAT WHAT YOU BELIEVE IS TRUE. JUST BECAUSE YOU BELIEVE SOMETHING, DOESN’T MAKE IT TRUE. ‘Paradigms’ will help you to understand,
and finally stop this self-defeating behavior.
It all starts with Being Aware! You have the Power to shape, reshape and desire a perfect SHAPE for yourself .
